Your carriage horses are housed at our stables in Hampton Court Farm, located within the Royal Park at Hampton Court Palace.  We would like you to meet them – we invite all prospective brides and grooms prior to their wedding.  Here is a brief preview:

OSKAR, a Lipizzaner, was born and trained in the Austrian town of Piber, home to the world-renowned Piber Stud, the centre for Lipizzaner breeding since the 19th century.  We choose this breed as they are the last word in elegance, reliability and regal splendour.  Horses from Piber work in the Spanish Riding School in Vienna.

Indeed, HUGO’s half-brother makes regular star appearances there.  Hugo works with Oskar as a pair.  He is the more juvenile of the two, even though they are the same age.

Andalusians were one of the foundation breeds of the Lipizzaner, and after a long search, we found ARES in Spain at the stables of the Count of Quin.  Ares is a true showstopper, as he is truly a fairy tale horse – a stunning mount for any Prince Charming.  Ares also does charity work (equine assisted therapy).

LOTHARIO (Fresno Quin), Ares’ younger brother, came with him from Spain.  He is not only excellent at this job, he is also a serious prospective dressage contender at Prix St George level.

There are some twenty other horses at our farm, and we will happily introduce you to all of them on your visit.  One special one to note, however, is PHILLIPA.  A striking palomino, Phillipa works as a single horse in a carriage for bridesmaids.
